生民何計樂樵蘇。
憑君莫話封侯事，
一將功成萬骨枯。

Drawn into the war charts is countryside south of the Great River;
With wood and grass cutting, why can't the people live happy ever?
Please ne'er talk of leading your army to become a great Noble --
Under the Victory General, ten thousand troops to death would stumble!

澤國：水鄉，此處指長江以南的地區。
 
生民：百姓。
 
樵蘇：砍柴割草，泛指艱苦的生計。
 
憑：請。
 
封侯：古代將帥在戰爭中立了大功可以封侯；這裡泛指升官。
 
萬骨枯：萬人變成枯骨，指犧牲了無數戰士。

這兩句 < 澤國江山入戰圖，
             生民何計樂樵蘇。>
話說安史亂後的戰禍已蔓延到大江以南，一片河山都繪入戰圖之中，
百姓原只求能砍柴割草艱苦度日，如今連這種所謂的快樂也不能得到了。
