Clicking’ the sword, singing madly, ‘Clicking’ the sword

'Mad Songs'
-- by 一老年人 'A Man of Advanced Years'
-- Translated by Frank C Yue

‘Clicking’ the sword, singing madly,
I post on the ‘net’ my poems best.
Who’d know when I’ll be put to rest?
With Time flying past so quickly,
Where’re some of the people I know?
         Bygone laments and tend'rness –
(But with no chance of redress) –
Leave behind traces of sorrow.
