      吱吱晨鳥唱閑
      杜鵑壓艷漫坡彩,
      天賴隨風林更

Shifting, shifting is the haze light,
Hiding, hiding the hills from sight.
      Leisurely, the birds a-tweeting,
      “Early breakfast we’re eating!”

Brilliant the azaleas pink and red
On the slopes brighter than others.
Nature’s sounds borne by the wind, it’s said,
Makes the still woods more serene rather.
