A brief collection of my attempted English renditions of selected Chinese poems, both contemporary and classical. (Each original classical Chinese poem may be presented in both the traditional and simplified forms, followed by the English translation.) Comments and suggested amendments welcome. From home far apart)
In their field of heart,
Always think of their loved ones：
Their parents, wife and sons！
This commoner
Of lowly birth
Wants to say "Thanks！" -- Thanks to Heav'n,
Thanks to the Earth,
Thanks to the Ruler！
十 + 口 + 心 = 思
寸 + 身 + 言 = 謝
