       《閒居賦》 夜月星河

觀蒼天之廣大兮， 宇宙祕而高深。
博覽中外諸史兮， 溯往昔與來今。
孫國父之革命兮， 極權覆而慶臨。
哀神州之赤禍兮， 悲聖道之淪沈。
民主自由鼓吹兮， 振國魂以宏音。

飛鞏枝而棲宿兮， 善擇木之良禽。
倚幽窗以寄傲兮， 見南山之高岑。
登東皋以放歌兮， 清泉引以同心。
伯牙偶遇鍾期兮， 奏流水之牙琴。
羣賢宴於江樓兮， 賦詩詞以長吟。

Observing the vast and boundless blue,

Deep Space is far and full of myst’ry.

Studying all human history, 

I ponder th’ past, present, future too.

With Sun Yat-Sen’s bold Revolution,

Tyrants gone: people in celebration!

Alas, the Motherland in Red Tide –

Righteousness, Morals just swept aside!

Drumming up Freedom, Democracy,

Let the National Spirit soar high!

 

Landing on a stout branch for the night,

The wise birds all choose their trees fine.

I lean on the serene window proud,

Viewing the high South Mountain in sight.

Climbing Mt. East to sing out aloud,

My heart resonates with clear brook’s song.

A bosom-friend casual comes along –

He plays the pipa like water running;

Scholars at the river-side tower dining,

They make fine poems for long reciting.
