Visiting my friend child-hood,
Year after year, the past lives on.
Here, my friend, we do meet again –

< 秦观，字少游、太虚，号淮海居士，高邮（属江苏）人。宋神宗元丰八年（1085）进士。文才为 苏轼 赏识，是 “苏门四学士” ** 之一。在新旧党争中屡遭贬谪，死于放还途中藤州。他的词风格接近 李煜 和 柳永，在婉约词中成就最高。他善于以长调抒写柔情，语言淡雅，委婉含蓄，留有余韵。多是男女离愁别恨及身世伤感之作。词集有《淮海词》。>

【注释】

①  玉笙：珍贵的管乐器。

②《小梅》：乐曲名。唐《大角曲》里有《大梅花》、《小梅花》等曲。

【赏析】

这是一首春日怀人之作。眼前莺嘴啄花，燕尾剪波的春光春色，触动了怀人的心绪。《小梅》一曲，传出了绵绵相思之情。这首词构思新颖，轻柔典雅，工丽含蓄。>

** “苏门四学士”:

<在 苏轼 的众多门生和崇拜者中，他最欣赏和重视这四个人。最先将他们的名字并提和加以宣传的就是 苏轼 本人。他说: “如黄庭坚 鲁直、晁补之无咎、秦观 太虚、张耒 文潜之流, 皆世未之知, 而轼独先知。” (《答李昭书》)  由于 苏轼 的推誉，四人很快名满天下。《宋史·文苑黄庭坚传》记载：“黄庭坚 与 张耒、陈师道、秦观 俱游 苏轼 门，天下称为四学士。”

不过 “苏门四学士” 这一称号只是表明这四位作家得到过 苏轼 的垂青和指导，接受过他的文学影响，而并不意味着他们或他们与 苏轼 可以统称为一个文学流派。实际上四学士造诣各异，受 苏轼 影响的程度有差别，文学风格也大不相同。比如 黄庭坚 的诗自创流派，与 苏轼 并称 苏黄； 秦观 的主要成就在词，但是他的词却不走 苏轼 的路子，作品内容多写抒情，亦有感伤身世之作。风调婉约清丽，辞情兼胜。>

Alas, what mere mortals can do against their Destiny?
O! It was so easy for our secular union to cease!
The swallows still come, landing on the curtain hooks with ease.
Bird-songs o'er your grave: Autumn gone, but not my sorrows at this hour;
I would identify our Two Butterflies in the Spring flow'rs.

<這是一首 悼亡詞。

上片三句借月亮為喻，寫愛情的歡樂轉瞬即逝，恨多樂少。
後兩句，寫假如愛情能像月亮那樣皎潔圓滿，付出再大的代價都願意。
"一昔如環，昔昔長如玦"，包蘊了無限的哀傷與懷念，表達了對亡妻的真摯愛戀。

下片寫傷逝中的悲痛，用燕子在簾間呢喃，反襯人去樓空，未亡人的孤寂。
結語化用 "雙棲蝶" 的典故，表達了他與亡妻的愛情生死不渝，抒發了無窮盡的哀悼，把永恆的愛寄託在化蝶的理想中。
這首詞把作者內心對愛妻的悲悼之情，盡情表露。
不做作，無雕飾，纏綿淒切，感人至深。>

昔：一夜， 《左傳》 ："為一昔之期。"

環：圓形玉璧。

玦 ：玉佩如環而有缺口。

若似二句：這兩句是說假如愛情能像月亮一樣長在長圓，那麼無論付出多大的代價也心甘情願。 "不辭冰雪為卿熱：劉義慶《世說新語·惑溺》："荀奉倩與婦至篤，冬月，婦病熱，乃出中庭自取冷還，以身熨之。婦亡，奉倩後少時亦卒，以是獲譏於世。"

無那：即無奈。 奈何，急讀為那。

塵緣：本佛語，佛教認為色、香、味、觸、法為六塵，是污染人心，使生嗜欲的根源。 這裡指人生或人間的情愛。 這句是說沒想到人生如此短促。

燕子二句：這兩句是說人亡室在，雙燕歸來，依然呢喃於簾鉤之上，李賀《賈公閭貴婿曲》："燕語踏簾鉤。"

唱罷秋墳： 李賀 《秋來》："秋墳鬼唱鮑家詩，恨血千年土中碧。"這句是說幽怨至死難消。

春叢：即花叢。梁簡文帝詩："花樹含春叢。" 雙棲蝶：古代傳說，晉會稽梁山伯與上虞女扮男裝的祝英台同學三年。 後梁訪上虞，始知祝為女，求婚不得，憂疾而死。 後祝適馬氏，過山伯墓，大號慟，墓忽開，祝身隨入，同化為蝴蝶。見《 寧波府志·逸事》。 >
