東庭籟夜寒窗透，影樹榕絲柳翠盈。
籠霧草花凝露滴，繞池幽徑散煙輕。

叢梢掛月吟詩興，竹野訌鵑聽泣聲。
紅燭落珠形客淚，托風簫韻意傳情。

At the east courtyard, where insects chirp,
Through all the windows the Night chills seep;
Now, among the tree shadows are seen
Banyan aerial roots and willows green.
Mist shrouds all the grass and the flowers;
Dewy pearls drip gently at this hour.
While the serene path faithfully stays
‘Round the pond, disperses the light haze.                            
Atop the shrubs hangs the Moon bright,
My songs and poems I’m moved to recite.
From yonder bamboo grove growing wild,
I can hear the cuckoo’s plaintive cry.
Tears fall from red candles, trav’ller’s eye --
O Soothing wind, O Flute tunes so clear,
Carry afar -- please -- my love pure
To the One I hold most Dear!  

2. 回讀為 另一首《七律》：

情傳意韻簫風托，淚客形珠落燭紅。

聲泣聽鵑訌野竹，興詩吟月掛梢叢。

輕煙散徑幽池繞，滴露凝花草霧籠。

盈翠柳絲榕樹影，透窗寒夜籟庭東。

3. 第一首七律順讀更改標點而不改字，

成詞一首：

《虞美人‧春夜》
