回文詩老年人 驕陽烈火掛藍天 天藍掛火烈陽驕 The bright Sun with beams burning

《七絕~端午》回文詩 一老年人

     驕陽烈火掛藍天,

     碧海翻濤槳鼓連;

     潮湧哄群人滿岸,

     凋零意節復年年。

回讀

   年年復節意零凋,

   岸滿人群哄湧潮;

   連鼓槳濤翻海碧,

   天藍掛火烈陽驕。

"Dragon Boat Festival" A Palindrome Poem
-- by One Old Man
-- Translated by Frank C Yue

The bright Sun with beams burning
Hangs high in the blue sky;
Waves roll on the green sea churning
While the chopping oars the drums do guide.

Like the noisy tide in-coming,
The cheering crowds line up the shore;
But , of the festival its meaning
Is forgotten year after years more.

(Original poem read backwards from the last character:)
Year after year, people on this day
Can't recall its original way;
Along the shore line the cheering crowds,
As the tide -- the sounds they make are loud.

Synchronized are the drum beats and oars
Which churn up green waves that rise and fall.
Up in the blue sky hangs the fire ball
Whose warm rays are meant for all.
