Dusk’s gray flowers opening 
                     in full bloom.

Specks of returning crows pass 
                      the long sky,

On the wind the white willow 
                      catkins ride.

Chasing the fast stream to 
                 show their mettle,

Racing forward are the red 
                      peach petals.
