"Mirror, Mirror on the wall, Am I still the strongest of them all?"
-- A Poem by Frank C Yue
Mirror, Mirror on the wall --
With fallen flowers all
On the fast streams e'er flowing,
Bygone days never returning:
Our sweet vibrant Spring is no more!
Mirror, Mirror on the wall --
Why my back and neck are so sore?
Why my legs are a little frail?
My board-breaking punch seems to fail?
Why now I am prone to fall?
Mirror, Mirror on the wall --
Why my keys keep disappearing?
My Honey, too, has lost her ring...
Why am I not as tall as before?
Why don't you answer me at all?
Mirror, Mirror on the wall --
Is M'Love still the fairest of them all?
Why wrinkles appear on My Fair?
Emerging beauty spots are there.
Am I still the strongest of them all?
Mirror, Mirror on the wall --
Where has my youthful face gone?
Last year's pants why I can't put on?
I keep asking from Winter to Fall,
For once, why can't you tell me at all?
Mirror, Mirror on the wall --
O Mirror, do tell me true!
What do the Lions-in-Fall do?
Mirror, you've been mute for too long,
At least, you should hum me a song...
