杜甫 風急天高猿嘯哀, 渚清沙白鳥飛迴。Against biting winds, high skies, monkeys sadly wail; O'er clear water, white sand-bar, birds in circles sail.

風急天高猿嘯哀,
渚清沙白鳥飛迴。
無邊落木蕭蕭下,
不盡長江滾滾來。

萬里悲秋常作客,
百年多病獨登臺。
艱難苦恨繁霜鬢,
潦倒新停濁酒杯。

Against biting winds, high skies, monkeys sadly wail;
O'er clear water, white sand-bar, birds in circles sail.
“Xiao, xiao!” From boundless, balding trees leaves a-falling,
Towards this way, the endless Great River's a-rolling.

Along ceaseless sad Autumns, I'm a rolling stone;
Ailing, at my life's end, I climb this tower alone.
Hardship and lament, to hoar temple hairs consign'd –-
Too ill, of late I just forgo my cup of wine!
