 天接雲濤連曉霧，星河欲轉千帆舞  Up the sky, adjoining the cloud waves, the horizon pre-dawn haze scales.

天接雲濤連曉霧，
星河欲轉千帆舞；
彷佛夢魂歸帝所，
聞天語，
殷勤問我歸何處。
　
我報路長嗟日暮，
學詩漫有驚人句；
九萬里風鵬正舉，
風休住，
蓬舟吹取三山去。

Up the sky, adjoining the cloud waves, the horizon pre-dawn haze scales.
Away, the Silver River a-churning with a million twinkling sails.
It seems, in dreams, I've return'd to the Heav'nly Palace (with tales).
"Where are you going now?" the Heav'nly Emperor asks me with care.

The road is long, the sun fading, I sigh in utter despair,
Though my new verses are mostly beyond compare.
The giant roc, on high and afar, the Gusty Wind is towing.
O Gusty Wind, never stop, never stop blowing!
Toward the Three Magic Isles, m'sail, light as dried straw, is a-flowing!


1. 三山： 古代神话：东方大海里有三座仙山，叫做 蓬莱、方丈、瀛州。

2. 蓬舟： 谓轻如蓬草的小舟，极言所乘之舟的轻快。
